More Halloween Adventures

A week before Halloween, we took Skye to the Enchanted Woods at the Treehouse museum. It's this cool Halloween tradition where kids get to go on a quest and meet storybook characters who help them on their way. There are so many people who go, you have to reserve a certain time and then go in a group. While waiting for each group to start, they give the kids a coloring book. They first met King Arthur who told them he was searching for something called the golden rose. He then knighted them all so they could go on a quest for him to find it.
Along the way, they listened to storybook characters who helped them on the quest...
and more importantly, gave them treats!
Skye wore her fairy costume from Halloween last year because her other costume wasn't quite ready yet. She still looked cute and happy in it!
Some of the characters they met included Snow White, Robin Hood, Dorothy and the Scarecrow, the Three Little Pigs (my favorites)...
Humpty Dumpty...
Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty who held the golden rose in her hands. Unfortunately, the prince couldn't pry the golden rose loose so he had to...
KISS HER!!!! Behind a book! I will admit that Skye wasn't way into it because it was hard to hear everything the characters were saying and she got a little bored. But the older kids (and myself) totally enjoyed it!
Here's Skye getting her final treat from Prince Charming before going with her group to tell King Arthur where to find the golden rose! What an adventure!

Gosh, isn't Halloween fun? So many people don't like it, but it really can be fun and exciting! The Treehouse Museum is such an awesome place.

I totally know Prince Charming. I'm talking about the Treehouse one, not my husband. :) That sounds like one awesome tradition. I'll need to go next year.
