Three Months

Jack turned three months just over a week ago. I can't believe how fast the time flies. Jack is a very happy, smiley baby. He loves to look at faces and loves to be talked to. He even did his first real laugh a few days ago, but got the hiccups after!
Skye took this picture. I don't know why, but I just like it!
Jack is also very interested in his hands. He loves to stick them in his mouth and he loves to stick out his tongue! He's also gotten very good at reaching for things and enjoys batting toys that are above him. One of my favorite things is that he likes being read to. We have a fabric book with flaps that make a crinkling sound. He recognizes the book when he sees it and gets soooo excited! He already reaches out for it and tries to get the flaps. Skye didn't start doing that until she was at least six months!
 He's so handsome!
Another one of his favorite things is to be naked! He LOVES it! He gets the biggest smile as soon as his clothes come off and is so happy and active while they remain off. But as soon as I start getting him dressed, he cries! Silly boy!

Isn't he precious? Sometimes I wish he could stay little like this forever.

Jack's Blessing

Lance blessed Jack the first Sunday of February. He was a very good boy, didn't make a sound, and Lance gave him a very sweet blessing. Doesn't he look cute? I'm so grateful for the Gospel and that my husband can give me and our children blessings. It is one of the greatest blessings you can have!

Skye Loves Her Brother

Skye loves her baby brother--sometimes a little too much. She is a very intense, aggressive person so I still often tell her to be careful with him. At first, when we'd ask her if she wanted to try and hold him, she was scared and said no. But now she sometimes asks me if she can hold him and even wants to try and pick him up by herself--to which she's been told she can when she's bigger.
Even though Skye loves Jack, Jack doesn't always appreciate Skye yet! But he will when he's bigger!

Here are both of the kids getting a plane ride from Daddy!
I often used to awake to this scene on mornings Lance didn't have to go to work. I always liked seeing Skye sleeping on Lance, too. There's something special about it for some reason.
One time, I came home from shopping to see all three of them asleep on the couch! It was so cute I had to get a picture!

Jack Overload

Here are a bunch of pictures of my cute little guy.
He loves smiling these days! He is a very smiley, happy baby. He loves looking at faces. It's usually one sure way to get a smile out of him.
Another thing he loves is sticking his hands in his mouth! He has started using those hands to bat at objects, too. It's so much fun to watch him exploring the world around him.

 Smiling again!
He's also started exploring his voice. He is still pretty quiet much of the time, but he has progressed beyond just grunting. He likes to make cute and silly baby noises. I love having conversations with him!
Isn't he the cutest little boy ever?!

This cute little guy slept through the night last night! Actually, he's still asleep! It's been about 11 hours! Hallelujah! Amazing!

Jack's First Outing

We took Jack on his first outing a little over a month ago to the new Museum of Natural History in Salt Lake. He was really good and we all had a great time.
This was really cool--dinosaur bones beneath glass you could walk on! We had fun walking over them and looking down at the bones.
Lance took this picture of Jack on it.
 Skye LOVES dinosaurs!
She was ecstatic to see they had a brachiosaurus skeleton! It was HUGE!
They had a whole wall full of ceratopsion skulls like triceratops.
And here's a cosmoceratops that Dr. Scott the paleontologist from Dinosaur Train named! You've got to love Dinosaur Train!
They had tons of fun activities for kids there. We probably didn't even see half of them or half of the museum. Lance took Skye back not too long ago. It's a really fun place that I'm sure we will visit again.
