Lance and I took a hike at Antelope Island a few weeks ago. I must say I love that place and the Great Salt Lake and am glad to be back near it

We saw this egg just lying in the grass.
We think this is a grouse. We saw a couple of them on the way back.

I thought the bird was a partridge, but I think you are probably coreect about it being a grouse. Definitely more grouse like after looking it up!
lets go back soon.
I'm putting antelope island on the list of places to go when I'm in Utah.
