Last Day

Lance posed for me just before heading off for his last day of work yesterday morning. Yahoo!!!! Now we have some packing to do and we're off to Utah!

Butterflies at the Gardens

The botanical gardens have a butterfly exhibit going on right now so we checked it out last night. There were many different kinds of butterflies.

Can you spot the ones getting nectar from these flowers?

One landed on Skye's butterfly hat!

It didn't seem in any big hurry to leave, either.

It's always fun watching butterflies.

I Just Can't Help It

I know everyone is probably getting sick of our flower pictures, but I love taking them and seeing them and this is my blog afterall! So here are some more pictures from the botanical gardens. It seems like the colors and flowers just keep getting better and better.

These next pictures are from the herb garden. You should have seen the beautiful flowers that were blossoming on the chili pepper plants!

This bird kept trying to get Skye's snacks from her stroller.

We sure will miss seeing huge agave plants like this after we move.

We saw this quail in our yard last week. There have been a lot of them around lately.

Desert Colors

We drove an hour north yesterday to Cave Creek State Park. We found the desert alive with most brilliant, bright, bold, beautiful colors imaginable.
