Isn't it interesting to wonder what your kids will be like when they get older based on what they are like when they are little? Skye is definitely a girl--she's emotional, she's dramatic, she loves girly things like shoes, purses, and talking on the phone. But sometimes I wonder if she'll end up as a tomboy because she also likes things like football, basketball, climbing, trucks, and tools. She gets super excited any time Lance gets his tools out to work on something and wants to join in.
The other night he was working on his bike and of course Skye had to get involved.
Last night, he was putting his tools in the new tool box I got him for Valentine's Day and Skye wanted her car brought in so she could use the tools to work on her car.
Any bets on which way she'll go? Total girl or tomboy? Or do they just change so much the more they grow that you can't tell anything about them at this age other than that they like to imitate and have fun?

I love these pics! I'd have to say that Skye is very well rounded! There will be very few dull moments because she likes to do so many things! Maybe she'll never get stuck into just playing one thing because her interests are so broad! Go Skye, go!
She could end up being like Teagan, who was very girly as a little girl. But as an early teen, she was a complete tomboy and detested girly stuff. Once she got in touch with her feminine side in High School, a lot of boys were interested in her- a cute girl who was interested in their interests! Maybe Lance doesn't want that, though... ;) May want to up her dating age!
I like the closeup of Skye with the tire. Her hair reminds me of a Japanese anime character with one of those wild, natural, looking heads of hair.
I really think that a lot of the interests are from what goes on around them. i remember Megan only wanting tools for her 3rd b-day, I don't know why, but that is what she wanted. But she seems very well rounded and as she gets older she will slowly figure out what she likes better then other things. It's good that she likes so many things. And she is so cute.
