Yay for 70 degree weather in Phoenix in January! It means I get to take Skye to the pool! Don't worry, though, it's a heated pool. The other pool at our complex is freezing cold. But I swear there is something about the sun here in Phoenix. It's just warmer than anywhere else I've ever been. I guess they don't call it the valley of the sun for nothing!
Skye mostly just threw the ball or rocks in and I'd give them back for her to throw in again. She also likes splashing her legs or holding onto me while I help her float around.
I wanted to get a picture of Skye by this little palm tree. When I told her to smile, this is what I got! I think she's finally learned what it means when someone has a camera and tells her to smile! So funny!

Oh, I'd better not show this to Emmett. He'd be very jealous. We don't have a heated pool around, so our 60 degree weather has been too cold for swimming! :)

I love that Skye is learning what smile means! However, those crazy faces she usually does when you say smile are the best! We've got some brilliant sunshine going here in Utah today, but definitely not the same as the sunshine in Phoenix! I doubt there's anyone in northern Utah who's in a outdoor pool today! A hottub, maybe, but definitely not a pool! Keep those great pictures coming!
I actually do like the new AI judge, too. I thought it was kind of dumb that they got a new judge at first because that was one of the fun things about it--that there was only one girl. But I actually think it will be a good thing now!
Jealous about the nice weather in Jan, but I will be just fine once summer comes around. Hey, I am in town in Utah, are you coming up for a trip? I came in for a funeral and will be here till the 26th. Let me know if you are planning a trip!
We won't be in Utah again until June, Alexis. But wouldn't it be great if we were both there at the same time? It would be so much fun to see Bryson and Skye playing together! I haven't even met him and you've never met Skye! Maybe we can try and make it happen sometime!
